Wesley Bashlor is a candidate for Pooler City Council in the upcoming election on November 7, 2023. Born and raised in Pooler, Wesley has deep roots within the community. His history with the City of Pooler dates back to his family as early as the 1950s.  All residing within Pooler, Wesley’s family is responsible for opening the original produce stand, better known now as Polks Plus.  Wesley worked to open and establish Polks Plus in 2011 and it has been serving the community for 12 successful years along with his support. 

A husband and a father to two wonderful children, his hope is to become part of the plan to enhance the development and growth of this beautiful city they call home. A builder by trade, he has been building homes for Pooler residents since 2007, playing a role in the expansion of this developing city. Having previously worked 4 years as Building Inspector for Pooler, he is ready to be back working directly with the city to make your home and his a better place.
